Green Tree Products actively supports the Japan market though a joint venture(Green Tree Products Japan, LLC). This company has two main partners. Green Tree founder, Sam Cremin, and Shin Kishioka, President of ITA. Both Sam and Kishioka-San have extensive Japanese experience. Sam has worked with Japan all his life, spending 4 years there as the Asian Director of Marketing Communications for Molex and later handling Molex Japan product sales into the United States. Shin, who speaks and writes fluent Japanese, worked over 6 years for the Itochu Trading Company before taking over the reins of his father’s company ITA, which focuses primarily on Japan-US trade.
Our work in 2011 has been concentrated on marketing and technical support activities for Phase Change Energy Solutions, Inc. (PCES). We work as an extension of the factory, providing distributors and customers ready access to key technical information in their native language. We also provide the marketing focus needed to push into the Japan market at a time when PCES is enjoying tremendous levels of activity in other areas.
We are partners with PCES in a company called Phase Change Energy Japan, LLC that is focused on developing technical partnerships, dealers and new applications for the Phase Change Energy products in the Japan market.
For Japanese companies moving into the ASEAN region, our efforts are supported by Isao Kimura our of our Singapore office. Kimura-San was educated in the field of law at Waseda University. He served in the field of civil engineering in a variety of capacities throughout his career. His focus area is the Japanese corporations, engineering firms and architects who are actively developing properties in the ASEAN region.
